Spaceworks was founded in response to the lack of opportunities to start and grow businesses in an area of Bristol with higher levels of unemployment and economic deprivation.
Our guiding mission has been to provide access to affordable workspaces with flexible, low-risk agreements to act as a significant stimulus in creating and sustaining jobs.
In 2020 we celebrated winning the RICS Social Impact Awards 2020, South West, in the commercial category.

Our board of directors has continued to guide Spaceworks from its humble beginnings in 1985 to the present day. One of the original directors, Neil Pirie, is the current chairman.
