Ashley Community Housing (ACH)

ACH is a social enterprise supporting non-EU migrant entrepreneurs with business growth, so helping to integrate migrant communities and resettle refugees.

Their Effective Digital Entrepreneurship & Business Support (EDEBS) project helps non-EU migrants to launch and grow their businesses, with advice and training on product development, e-commerce, marketing, social media, HR and customer acquisition.

If you have the right to live and work in the UK, and are not a UK or EU passport holder, this project can specifically help if you:

  • Are thinking about starting a business or becoming self-employed but are not sure where to start
  • Are thinking about setting up a charitable organisation
  • Already have a business idea and need some advice
  • Are an established business looking for advice on pivoting or scaling up

You are eligible for support even if you’re receiving help from another organisation. If you don’t meet the criteria, ACH also works closely with WECA so can recommend other support options that would suit you better.

To find out more information or enrol for personalised business support, please email: julia.dixon-barrow@ach.org.uk or phone: 0117 387 8626. You can read more here: https://www.ach.org.uk/

ACH also runs a range of workshops and courses, such as English Functional Skills and Life Skills, which may be of interest and which you can view here: https://ach.org.uk/locations/bristol-training-centre
