Introducing Spaceworks

You might notice a few changes around Spaceworks over the coming weeks – at least on the outside. Our fresh new brand is the culmination of many discussions with people we’ve connected with over the years, to find out what Spaceworks means to them.

The main difference is a slight name change, from Bristol Spaceworks to simply Spaceworks. The organisation was founded in 2010 in a merger of two not-for-profit social enterprises, with a primary goal to improve business opportunities in an area of Bristol with higher unemployment and economic deprivation. Our ethos in 2023 is exactly the same, with our focus still very much on the Bristol community. Updating our name simply gives us flexibility for the future.

The rebrand reflects our longstanding values and continuing mission to offer affordable and supportive spaces for growing businesses. It also brings together our business centres and services under a more contemporary banner, making it easier for people to access workspaces and business support.

You’ll also see our website has undergone a complete refresh, making it easier for Bristol businesses to find what they’re looking for. You can view details of our 7 business centres – including Redbrick House which offers more coworking opportunities (and was previously on a separate website) – offering modern workspaces, flexible terms and affordable rates.

Supporting local businesses is at the heart of what we do, and we’ve enjoyed working with Rhombus Studio at Easton Business Centre, who have been integral to the brand redesign and new website.
